Being a business owner can be stressful. No surprises there! When the buck stops with you, it can be easy to let the pressure get the best of you and to discount your wellbeing for the sake of success.
However, if you’re not taking care of yourself, you’re not taking care of your business—full stop. Your mental health is so crucial to the success of your organisation. Just as airplane safety videos recommend that parents put their own oxygen masks on first so they can attend properly to their children, we suggest you look after your wellbeing so you can show up for your team and your clients.
But how exactly can you best look after yourself? Some people dismiss self-care as frivolous bubble baths and face masks, but there are many more meaningful ways to prioritise your own wellbeing.
