You might have noticed that some of our team members were away for a few days last month. Rest assured, there was a good reason for their absence!
We often tell our clients that it’s important to occasionally step back from day-to-day operations and take time to upskill, refocus, and look at the bigger picture. Last month we took our own advice and sent a few of the Malloch McClean team to The Gap conference in Wellington, the largest gathering of accountants and bookkeepers in the nation in 2023. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn, network, and get excited about what’s coming in the industry.
The team members present have returned ready to use what they learnt to help you build smarter, better businesses. We stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and cutting-edge solutions in accounting to ensure you’re getting the very best information and guidance.
The team did a little more than just take it all in; our own John Schol spoke about Malloch McClean’s journey in becoming a modern
accounting firm. Later, at the awards evening, he won the “Coaching the Coach” Award. This is well-deserved recognition for a talented,
knowledgeable person who has helped so many of our clients transform their businesses and get ahead over the years. Congratulations, John!
